...and road-tripped to Bowling Green for homecoming weekend and Ashley's induction. The fun filled weekend commenced with Paul sacrificing himself to drive the massive RV through the rain as everyone else proceeded to get pissed in back. (We started to see how RV living could be appealing.) Saturday morning saw Ashley get inducted into the hall of fame with two of his fellow WCU athletes. Then, we were off to the homecoming festivities and football game where all three of them were once again recognized.

That evening, we packed into the RV once again to travel to Ashley's friends, Perry & Denise's home for a congratulatory celebration for Ashley, complete with a bluegrass band and an outdoor heater. So'm'bitch!

Sunday morning we dined at Bob Evans, courtesy of Ashley and Andrea's coach! Then, it was off to the Corvette museum to stop in my my smashed pennies and then to Mammoth Cave for a bit of underground exploration! Leaving the cave, we headed to Louisville for a delicious pizza dinner, following which many of us fell asleep (or at least I did) while the intrepid Mr. Nic navigated us home safely.
